I call this drink “When Sarah Met Sally.” It’s named after my good friend, Sarah, who will order it at a bar just like Sally would from “When Harry Met Sally.” She’s good at precisely laying out exactly what she wants, and it usually goes like this…
“Do you have fresh lime juice? Not just lime wedges but like a good amount of fresh lime juice? Ok good. I’ll have a gin with soda and fresh lime juice. It’s freshly squeezed, right? Oh good – okay and then in you have some cucumber can you muddle that as well? Thank you so much!!”
Here are the ingredients to this deliciously simple cocktail:
* One part gin
* Two parts soda
* One part freshly squeezed lime juice
* Fresh cucumber slices, if available
Simple yet oh so specific. Enjoy!
