Snow Shoes

Christmas Eve 1

How did you spend the holidays!? I hope you were able to be with the ones you love – whether the family you were born into or the family you’ve created for yourself.

I was lucky enough to spend the holiday up in the mountains with my mom and my youngest brother. We literally ate and watched movies for dayyssssss. I’m not complaining. Not by a mile. I love movie marathons and I love eating.

Now that Christmas is over, though, I’m also happy to shake off the cabin fever (literally, haha) and look forward to the new year. More to come there soon ;)

For now, here’s how I spent part of my holiday – traipsing around a frozen meadow in my lovely Christmas sweater so that I could take photos for you fine people.

But be warned: when it is 30 degrees and there’s snow on the ground, you need more than a sweater and leather Oxfords. Wear a jacket and boots or you’ll look silly – like me :)

Happy holidays!

PS – I swapped out the boring brown laces on my brown dress shoes for something fun and different. Do the same with these and you’re old shoes will be new again!
