I don’t know about you but I have major issues getting dressed in the morning. I stumble up to my closet, bleary-eyed and yawning, looking at the options before me with the ineptitude of a neanderthal fumbling with fire.
The only way that I ever leave the house in a half-decent state of dress is by planning ahead.
If there’s one thing I would recommend to improve your appearance it would be to throw a wardrobe option or two over the back of that chair in your bedroom before you go to bed. Make choices while you’re awake and perceptive of fit / color / coordination factors.
I took this to an extreme recently and installed a few coat hooks along an empty wall in my bedroom. I figure if I’m going to be blogging about style with authority I should be cognizant of my choices.
This way I’m able to plan ahead for the week and will no longer leave the house in an animal skin loincloth.
