It’s the Cinco de Mayo tomorrow so in honor of Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla, I give you – the Casa Noble ritual.

Cinco de Mayo is on a Tuesday… so I’m not going to waste your time with a long, complicated cocktail. We’re gonna throw one back so that we can get right to the chips and guac. I’m a fat kid at heart. Not ashamed.

This ritual is composed of three steps:

1. A sip of Sangrita*
2. A sip of Casa Noble Crystal
3. A sip of Corona Extra

*Sangrita = essentially bloody Mary mix. The full recipe (if you have the time) is 32 oz. tomato juice, 16 oz. orange juice, 4 oz. hot sauce, 2 oz. lime juice, salt and pepper to taste.

It’s like you’re making a mixed drink in your mouth! No time wasted. All the celebratory drinking. Sip in this order and repeat until you’re ready to move the party out to bars… or to the guacamole station.

PS – Bonus points if you already knew Cinco de Mayo is not actually celebrated as Mexico’s independence day. That’s September 16th.
PPS – If sipping isn’t your thing, just combine these ingredients in a tumbler and enjoy!
